The Redland PV tile systems from Lafarge, a company with the experience and reputation of over 80 years in the roofing industry, offer an effective and elegant way of integrating a solar electricity system into the roof of a building. They allow the production of clean and renewable power without compromising either the appearance or integrity of the roof.   Like all Redland products, the PV tile systems have been fully tested and proven under storm and driving rain conditions and carry the standard Redland 15 year weather-tightness guarantee.

Redland PV800

The Redland PV800 PV tile system features a unique mounting system that integrates directly into a tile roof.  It fixes to standard tile battening and requires no visible brackets, supporting structure or leadwork. The system is entirely modular and can be sized and arranged to suit the roof / building requirements. Each PV tile directly replaces 4 standard concrete tiles.

PV tile width: 1200mm ... equivalent to 4 standard 300mm tiles

PV tile depth: 310 - 340mm ... variable - to match the gauge of other tiles on the roof

PV tile weight: 6 Kg ... less than the weight of 4 concrete tiles

PV tile power: 40Wp (Wp = Watts peak = output at test “full sun” conditions)

Min. Pitch: 20º (all tile types)

Compatibility: Redland Double Roman, Redland Mini Stonewold, Redland Grovebury, Redland Landmark Double Pantile, Redland Renown (other tiles need bespoke flashing)

Redland PV80

  

The Redland PV80 PV tile system has been designed to provide a “universal” PV roofing solution - enabling integration with a wide range of tiles, slates and other roofing materials.  Although it uses a larger format PV module than the PV800 system, the PV80 system shares many similar features - mounting is direct onto standard tiling battens and it is a modular product, allowing flexibility in system design.

 

PV tile width: 1200mm ... equivalent to 4 standard 300mm tiles

PV tile depth: 520mm - fixed (no variation on overlap possible)

PV tile weight: 7 Kg

PV tile power: 80Wp (Wp = watts peak = output at test “full sun” conditions)

Min. Pitch: 25º (flat tiles) / 30º (profiled tiles)

Compatibility: Redland Double Roman, Redland Mini Stonewold, Redland Grovebury, Redland Landmark Double Pantile, Redland Renown (as per PV800). Also: Regent, Cambrian, Richmond / Saxon / Landmark slates, Stonewold II, DuoPlain, Plain tiles (clay and concrete), Norfolk Pantile / 49, Natural slate, Fibre cement, Slate, Kami.
